The Challenge
Siete de Siete was born as an independent publishing project focused on emerging artists and writers willing to communicate, take risks and bet on their own ideas.
The philosophy behind the publishing house was already clear, but the project still lacked a name and a visual identity capable of expressing that attitude. The challenge was to build a brand that felt independent, bold and full of character, while creating a concept strong enough to connect the editorial world with the idea of taking a chance on yourself.
The Solution
The identity was built around the idea of the cat's seventh and final life.
From that concept came the name Siete de Siete: a reminder that there are no endless opportunities waiting somewhere else, and that the life worth taking risks in is the one happening now.
A mischievous and fearless cat became the central character of the identity, embodying the same curiosity, independence and willingness to take risks as the artists and writers the publishing house wants to support.
The visual language combines handmade ink with printed graphic elements, bringing together something spontaneous and imperfect with the structure of editorial design. This contrast became part of the brand's personality and reflects its approach to publishing: crafted, expressive and open to experimentation.
The brand narrative was completed with the manifesto and the claim “Haz que cuente”. The phrase works on two levels: as an invitation to make this final life count, and as a reference to the act of telling stories, placing storytelling itself at the heart of the publishing house.
